We meet at the Eggspectations restaurant at exit 17 on the 40 (towards Ottawa) at 8:30am for toast and coffee. No seconds, we don't have all day! At 9:15 we head out to rue St. Georges, over Rigaud Mountain. This is a fine twisty road, not to be taken too fast, but enough to enjoy the features of our fine automobiles. Then we head over to rue St-Henri, going by Auberge des Gallants and some fancy looking horse places. Incidentally, this is a fine place for a convoy photo shoot that we could post to make those California people wish they lived here. This would take at the most another hour, so that by the time we're done you're home by 11:00-11:30.

If you have a bit more time I can take you down past my place to the St Polycarpe River Road, which winds past a bunch of farms but the key word here is "winds". It also dips a fair bit, so it's also a great road to feel your E90 hugging the corners.

This plan makes it a bit easier for our Ottawa friends as well, because exit 17 is only 10kms from the Ontario border.

For Montrealers it's about 25-40 minutes, "depending on your speed".
Sounds like a plan - good driving roads .

Once you exited Highway 40, is the Eggspectations visible ?
