Sorry to hear. Like I said, these cars are very sensitive to work on and require a lot attention for a job like this.

Regarding the insurance premium, that is not how it works in the U.S. If the car gets written off and you took it off the policy, you would get a refund. I'm not sure how the deductibles work in the U.K. but maybe part of that prepayment would go against the deductible?
