In the UK the base 3dSE is £47,895 whereas the base petrol, 5iSE is £60,020.
There is no way I would consider buying petrol over diesel in the UK.
The economics of a higher list price of the petrol and much lower running costs of the oil burner make it a no-brainer.
I get an average of 34 mpg on my 3dSE so I'm happy.
Also resale values of the diesel are much higher than the petrol variant  |
