Class of '13 delivery!

It's hard to order your new vehicle and wait... and wait... and wait some more.

It's doubly hard to suffer through the waiting when your vehicle gets a much earlier than expected production schedule, is delivered 3+ weeks before expected (was originally aiming for mid-December) and you are still deployed to Afghanistan.

But, at least it has been delivered and is now home waiting for me! My wife went to pick up my 2013 E92 M3 this afternoon and so far… it MAY be possible she is more excited than I am

I ordered the car more or less fully loaded;

2013 E92 M3, Jet Black
Competition Package
Cold Weather Package
Premium Package
DCT Transmission
BMW Apps
Satellite Radio
Enhanced Premium Sound
Auto High Beams
Interior: Red/black/black with Carbon Leather trim

I was hoping she could get some good pics of the car at the beach, however, it was crap weather and rain in Honolulu (she took a pic as proof from our condo lol), so I have to settle for grainy pics in the garage until the weather improves (hopefully tomorrow).

As part of "dealing with" my deployment, I’ve been planning a lot of mods and have set several stages for my new boy's development:

Stage 0: Delivery and stock M3; DONE!

Stage 1:
a. 3m clear bra trunk, front fender
b. Formula One Pinnacle ceramic tinting (scheduled for: 04 Oct)

Stage 2: Currently, we are waiting for several deliveries for this "stage". Everything has been purchased, and must wait for arrival of the more challenging to obtain items (Amuse trunk, Arkym pieces). I prefer to have everything installed at once vs. multiple trips to the shop (wife allowed me to mod but insisted "dealer install only"... my ego can live with that )
a. Arkym Aerosport CF front lip spoiler (awaiting shipping)
b. Arkym Aerosport CF rear diffuser (awaiting shipping)
c. Carbon fiber gill replacement covers (arrived)
1) Lights replaced with White LED light package (arrived)
d. Front bumper reflector delete in jet black (arrived)
e. Matte black kidney grill replacement (arrived)
f. Bonet, trunk, rims, steering wheel roundel replacement in carbon fiber (arrived)
g. LUX V3 LED angel eyes (in shipping)
h. Amuse trunk, fiberglass (On order, awaiting shipping)
i. Alekshop rear camera with multimedia kit (arrived)
j. MFEST German flag style matte black ///M3 badge (arrived)
k. German flag color scheme; ALL traditional ///M3 colored badges on side gills, steering wheel, door jams replaced with German flag badging (in shipping)
l. Custom MFEST black mats with gray lettering, German flag and red trim (awaiting shipping)
m. Akrapovic Slip-On Exhaust (awaiting shipping)
n. Mfest Street/Competition Pedals (awaiting shipping)
o. Arkym J12 wheels 9" front and 10" rear

Stage 3: Still contemplating. "Murdered out" cars have been common, although I like the look. I think the complete ///M badge redo with the German colors adds a bit of differentiation. I know that many M3 owners prefer more solid colors and less ostentation, but, hey, oh well :-)
a. Either matte red or glossy red vinyl wrap racing stripes (see my poor artists rendering for what I envision)

Stage 4: Performance upgrades
a. Brembo BBK; Black with red BREMBO lettering
b. Completion of Akrapovic to full Evolution exhaust system
c. VT1-535 Supercharger
d. Dinan LSD 3.62 most likely

And... COMPLETE!!!! Getting the wife to sign off on my Stage 4 dreams will take awhile; I already hear about how much I've spent on just the initial mods, but I figure in a year I should get everything installed and finished!

The good news is, as you can see from the pics she has a 128i that I just replaced with a new 2013 135is (currently waiting for production, delivery estimated for late November to early December) and she is already talking about getting some mods for it…. :-)

Anywho, thanks to many of you on here for encouragement, answering LOTS of newb questions, relaying and educating me on parts/processes, etc, and particularly to Bobby at Psyspeed (amazing customer service!).

Can’t wait to leave this s*it hole and get back to get in my new ride!

Hooah
