extended warranty on wastegate, hpfp recall? im just confused...
So two issues as of now....
I was under the impression that there was a recall for the HPFP for the 2009 135I, but the dealership is telling me its just an extended warranty. I purchased the vehicle at a non bmw dealership and grabbed an afternarket warranty through ASC. If there is an issue with my HPFP, does this mean its covered by the extended warranty through bmw? Was there really a recall for ny model? in pretty sure my aftermarket warranty would cover it, im just wanting to know if bmw has to as well. Any help is appreciated.
Second issue is wastegate rattle...seems like its there on some startups but not on others. Is this part covered by the extended warranty through bmw (or did I have to buy that from bmw?)....im certain turbos are covered by the ASC warranty but do I need to wait for failure, or is the rattle enough to have it replaced?
Also sidenote, since in taking it in soon any maintenence suggestions for around 70k miles? Im clueless and looking for help!
