Bird's B3x kit is a custom valved Bilstein damper, to suit their spring kit. Short of getting a coil over about as well matched as you can get. A couple of hundred quid more though. They replace bump stops with their springs as well.
Having changed springs-only for 8k miles and then later the dampers, I can understand why you'd want to change them. Whilst cruising on the motorway the improvement is slight, but push on and the dampers are a big a step forward as fitting the springs alone.
