I've already gone through two tires before as well - insane - was not expecting to need so many tires so soon. Anyway-

Point: The dealer offered me "BMW Ultimate Care+ 2" for 2 years which covers the following maintenance:

brake pads and rotors

external drive belts

clutch disc

wiper blade inserts

any adjustments required due to normal operating conditions (except as excluded below) - excludes a TON of stuff like tires, body, engine, txn, etc.

My brakes are all at 5mm, so depending on who you ask sounds like I'll need brakes in somewhere between 4-12 months.

Finance guy justified it to me like this:

Getting the car serviced is gonna cost 900, 900, and 1500 over 2 years

Brakes are gonna cost 2200 (rotors)

In total he said I'll spend $5500 MINIMUM on the next 2 years with the car. Let's say he sold me the package for ~$3200.

I have another month or so to decide if this is a good deal or if I should just cancel it.

FYI - Last car I owned before this was a 95 model in the 2010s, so I'm a complete stranger to new cars and esp german cars. *with this car* I'm used to just taking my car to the dealer and having everything taken care of on the lease but I know owning a 3+ year old BMW will be different than owning a brand new one. Maybe spending 1500 in yearly maintenance Y4 and Y5 outside of brakes and tires is an expectation?
His estimate on maintenance and the cost of the package are a lot more than what my dealer estimated. I was give an estimate of $1700 on brakes and I could expect to replace them twice under the plan. I love threshold braking into a corner and then rotating the car, so I do use my brakes pretty hard, so it was an easy choice for me. I would have to pull my paperwork but I paid right around $2100 for the plan. I can extend it for $1K per year for up to another 2 years if I choose.

Search the forums. There are several dealers that will sell you the package for a lot less.
