You're cross shopping a 4,300lb car with a 3,400 lb one and have said you're more into displaying a wealthy image than the performance, so definitely go with the M6. M6's have always had huge discounts as they are so overpriced compared to comparable cars like the 911 and especially the M5. Even at the same money as an M6 I'd take the M3/4 (I loved my M5 but it was ultimately larger and heavier than ideal) but everyone is different so stick with the M6 as it is what will make you happy.
