Not M3 immediate but I don't think any SUV would be. If the transmission is in S2 and engine in Sport I do feel i want a little more responsiveness so my daily setting has been trans in S2 and engine in Sport+. Keep in mind no X5M/X6M or even the M5 will feel like your M3. Wasn't designed to be and never will.

As for roominess i can't comment about the X6M but the X5 is massive compared to the my M3. Not so much legroom space but more so width, shoulder room.
Alan - can you please educate me on the differenc between the D1-D3 settings and the S1-S3 settings for the transmission? My manual is in my car which is being wrapped at the moment so I can’t access it (and can’t seem to find it on the internet for some reason). Thanks in advance.
