Most likely as pretty well all transverse engine mount AWD vehicles are not full time AWD. It's actually not a bad thing as it reduces fuel economy and the latest differentials can transfer power to the rear wheels very quickly as I owned a Golf R and could not find any determinable difference between that and my old STI when it came to daily driving or slippery conditions. On a track is where you can see some FWD tendencies but really how many people are going to be tracking these cars as 99.9% will be used for commuting.
