Love Hate Relationship with many functions on this M3.

Spotify is an amazing feature, however, it is such a pain to connect. I have resorted to using an iPod Touch as it frees my iPhone for other functions. Apparently, if I switch out of the Spotify screen, the Spotify is disconnected and the reconnection process isn't automatic.

Using the iPod Touch which I planned to keep plugged into the M3, I realized that turning on the car does not automatically connect me to Spotify. I still have to open the console and do one or a combination of the following:

(1) Disconnnect and reconnect the USB cable.
(2) Close the Spotify application (double click home screen and swipe away Spotify) and reopen.
(3) Restart the iPod Touch.

Anyone else running into this problem? Any fix to this? It is really annoying that I have so many things to do before driving off:

(1) Wait to press M1 button.
(2) Get Spotify to work.
(3) Disable Start-Stop Function.
