The 14/19 numbers come directly from BMW during the Monticello event. That's why they are reporting them. Real world numbers may be different but that seems unlikely. So we all have to individually decide if we care or not. I care a little. Mostly I'm just disappointed that 14/19 is worse than my S65. I average 15-17 driving 60% highway in the V8 so I guess that would put me 14-16 in an X3M. Pay to play!

the current M4 comp is rated at 17/23.. 19 combine
MX3 comp is rated at 14/19.. 16 combine:
+60hp
+AWD
+SUV size/weight
=3 or 4 mpg penalty over the M4 coupe
