For years, I have been using Black Magic Liquid Car Wax. It is what I'd call a synthetic wax. I have used every wax on the market, and I have found the true waxes only last a couple of months while Black Magic is good for up to a year.
As for the shine, it is as good as any of the highly touted carnauba waxes. Another good choice for the lazy is Nu Finish in paste or liquid. The paste work best but harder to remove.
Unfortunately, Black Magic wasn't popular, so it got pulled from the shelves. I believe it is available directly from the company and Amazon. I have a couple of bottles, so I'm good for a while.
