Did the air filter change successfully 2wks ago. the location of the air filter on the 118i N46B20 set up is different from those write up found.
The air scoop component will first have to be removed using torx screw. Next remove the 2 nuts holding the air box in place. Once the 2 nut is out, lift up and out the entire air box. the air box is tighten with 5 torx screws so remove the 5 screws will expose the air filter.
