Yes, to me it is the cost vs comfort. I'm not overly fussed about higher end performance as I would rarely use it day to day. Ride quality is important but the cost is my biggest thing - not because I can't afford $500 per tyre but moreso because I just don't think it is worth paying 40 or 50% more for a tyre for the benefit of having an RFT. As VGR has said, if the difference in cost is 10-15%, then for me it comes down to comfort. Maybe one day I'll do a ring around to compare prices.
