Yes, the G30 has already been seen to have the same vent where the 7's "hockey stick" is. However, there is no "stick" part, just the vent. Supposedly, the vent is supposed to integrated into the sheet metal and not an extra fixture like it is on the 7, but that remains to be seen.
That being said, I LOVE the G30's taillights. I'm in an E60 now, and I can't stand the F10's tails - they look awkward to me. But with this, I'm in love.
I was worried that, because Lexus has recently stolen BMW's taillight design, that the new G30's tails would look derivative, but I'm relieved to see that they look great and distinctly new.
