All season tires are allowed in Germany during winter with out having any trouble by the German Police. I have asked them a few times and they all say the same thing.dedicated winter tires would be best but all seasons will work. They told me not to use Summer tires in winter because that would get a fine if pulled over or in a accident.I want to get those factory RFTs off. I do not drive my BMW 135 or 335 in the winter much so I was just going to get some all seasons so I can if I have to drive in the winter. I also have a 318i that has both winters and summers so, we drive it the most in the winter. The tires need to have the M/S on them and the Germans will be okay with them and are good for winter season.
