you must really punish the brakes to get fading. I find them really good, much better then the M3 CSL / Z4M, even with the original pads. Only issue is the pads wear fast when they get hot, but still no fading. Make sure you regularly change your fluid!
Changing to the smaller performance brakes is a downgrade, don't do it. Take some good pads instead. If you are really tracking, then you will have to invest in a BBK.
