I take it from your questions you have not test drove the 520d f10 against the new face lifted C Class??
The Merc is a far more fun car to drive and such a big jump over the pre facelift, where as the BMW is very dumbed down compared with the previous 5 series.
Have you also considered the E Class? These were working out cheaper on leases than the C Class due to their residuals and the fact the base spec. is far higher.
