Took a very early morning round-trip to Mobile airport this morning. One hour each way. Had pax on the way there but just me on the way back. All back winding Southern Alabama and Mississippi roads. Little or no traffic. Very smooth – almost perfect - pavement all the way (no frost heaves in the deep south). Lots of slow winding curves with straightaways coming in and going out. Big orange sun just coming up on the horizon - but great visibility of the empty road ahead. Mid-seventies (deg F). Cloudless sky. Sunroof open. Radio off. Some fog over the ponds along the route. Mucho opportunities to open up, enjoy the engine's music AND JUST FLY! What a great way to start the day in such an awesome car. Here’s hoping that each of you get that same opportunity soon!! Any recent similar experiences?
