Seems the DCT allows lots a bogging upon launch, followed by a bit too much wheelspin to actually be fully advantageous in getting ultimate acceleration.
Good to see though that the DCT is being used on a tuned 335i with no apparent issues.
I believe the USA gets the DCT for 2010 335i's.
Somebody needs to do a Vbox test of the 335i DCT and see it's time from 40-120 starting in 2nd gear and compare it to a 6AT 335i.
I'd be interested in seeing those results.
