To be honest I've only put down a couple true "hot laps" in a F8X so I can't accurately compare it to the M2 as far as temperatures go. I do have some seat time in the older E9X M3's and those had heat issues as well.

Yeah it was brutal. We've managed to melt one other plate frame that was on our One Lap of America E46 M3 years ago.

I'm not sure about upgraded coolers on the M235i but we're going to look in to it for the M2 for sure.
