From what I understand, the de-glazing (aka, bedding) is a possibility; however, I live in the city so finding the time and location to do so is a bit of a pain. From what I understand, people with more experience in this can simulate the process of accelerating and braking by applying gas while simultaneously braking, but this sounds prone to issue for the uninitiated (like myself)--either doing too much or too little.

I'm actually at the dealership now for a related issue (rear window), and brought up the squeaking, also mentioning that the bedding might help. However, it remains to be seen if they'll be able to do anything about it.
