The main difference is that the USB/AUX adapter allows you the addition of a CD Changer. The Dealer installed MOST adapter does not (it mimics the CD Changer). There are GUI differences as well (the USB adapter can show you Playlist names, the MOST adapter only show you "CD1", "CD-2" and so on)...
Personally, I would like to listen to both adapters first before opting for either one: the USB uses the AUX port (headphone jack of the iPod), the MOST adapter uses the Line Out port of the iPod (bottom connector) for signal input into the OEM system. I don't like at all the AUX input sound quality of the iPod... |
