On that matter BMW did great they never fail any emission test. The only problem is the price we have to pay for Diesel engines. In Canada they kind of fix it with the 328(320)d with a 3000$ extra over the 320i which make sense but the F10 535(530)d was too expensive for it's engine. Anyway I'm waiting for the G31 540d to replace my F31 now
