The EDC suspension on my E92 was one of the biggest improvments coming from my E46. On the E46, I always found the stock suspension a bit too stiff for our bad Quebec roads and a bit too soft at the track. The EDC strikes a very good compromise. In comfort, it is comfortable enough for the DD and Sport is decent enough for track use with R-comp tires (NT01 in my case). I was actually quite surprised on how well the stock suspension is able to deal with r-comps. On very bumpy tracks, I use the Normal setting to make the car less darty.

I expect the active suspension on the F8X to be at least as good as it is on the E9X
