Couldn't have said it better myself. Even for the same money, I would take the M4 every time. Besides the fact that I deeply dislike the 6 series look (although its much better than the hideous 1st gen), the things I value about the M4 is that its faster and lighter. I thought of getting the M5 even, but after it got clobbered on the reviews, combined with the weight of a full size sedan, I gave it a pass. One car is more performance oriented, the other is more a GT.
