Can someone explain what the hell is going on with alcantara interiors lately, particularly on door panels? The M2 appears to have it now. Did BMW have to get on that train just because the Audi s4 is doing it? Porsche is all over it lately with its GTS/Gt4 models. The second a mechanic touches that with the slightest bit of grease on his finger thats going to be on the door FOREVER. Does anybody actually like alcantara on a door panel or somewhere that isnt a steering wheel/shifter? It makes no sense! I mean ive seen alcantara covered center consoles - ya know where you rest your arm which be sweaty after leaving the gym. That will look completely disgusting within 6 months. Am i the only one who hates this and may completely avoid a car that has alcantara all over that will trap dirt? I want to be able to keep an interior clean
