Even after I thought it was built I discovered the week before I was due to pick it up it was sat in the factory and held up due to a shortage of chips to finish it off. At this point BMW could not give me any delivery dates and simply advised me it would be prioritised once the parts became available
I feel your frustration with the delays as I was expecting to wait until after Xmas and was surprised when the garage rang to say it was on its way and hopefully yours turns up sooner than you expect.

Really, i ordered mine on the same day and nowhere near being ready! Even looked at other options. Did you have to contact them or did you do anything different to get yours by December?
