It it's anything like the right side (where the tranny radiator is), you need to remove the bumper. And that one is definitely bolted: one on the inside, and 2 visible after removing the bumper. I removed it to install a fiberblass screen on the radiator, but didn't mess with the intake one. I can't believe is just laying there, but maybe it's true. The good news is it's relatively easy to remove the bumper; I did it all by myself. Remember the outside temperature sensor is attached to that intake piece, before you start yanking on it
