I was going through the BMW website and found the iPod adapter cable at the below link for $90. I'm currently using my standard lightning connector that comes with all Apple products. I'm not sure the point of this adapter especially for the price. It appears I have full access to all my lists and music and menus from my iDrive. I also imagine the quality of the music signal doesn't change given that everything is digital. Either the 1s and 0s are transmitting or they are not. Anyone else have insight on this or just another way for BMW to gouge us for something not necessary?
