Really? That seems very high!
I've just come back from a weekend at the nurburgring and was setting the pressures to about 35 all round (hot). When the tyres cooled down the pressure dropped to about 30 or 27 at the front.
The car felt really good with that pressure but I didn't try different pressures very much.
The quoted pressures on the door silla re 2.3 / 2.5 bar which is around 35 psi.
