I've been driving a
lifted supercharged Toyota 4Runner for the past 6 years. I still need it to haul the boat, dog, guns & ammo to get over the river, through the woods, off the paved road, and up the mountain to my folks' place in NE TN.
This week I brought home a 2018 BMW 340xi M-Performance 6MT because I missed driving a stick. AWD optional, but a benefit since I spent 10 years in a '02 Subaru Legacy GT 5-spd before the 4Runner. What I absolutely wanted no part of was the "nanny features," lane-departure, adaptive cruise, etcetra.
