Looking right now at the German configurator, there is only one M5 model and it literally says "Competition Paket" in the options list. X3 M and X3 M Competitions are separate variants. M8 is only available as "Competition" in some markets.
They really can't decide.
Also, that is a lot of options removed from the US-spec G30. Sheesh.

Actually for 2021 the comp models throughout the lineup have been moved to a package vs a standalone. A quick thumb through the 2021 order guides showed it is almost universally been reverted from standalone models
