Just heard a new rumor where the next G80 M3 is going to be a Tri-Turbo setup with the 3rd turbo being electrically powered. I think this is plausible as the base G20 3-Series will all get a get 48Volt Electrical System in accordance with BMW's new CLAR architecture for the future. I predict the G80 M3 to have somewhere around 480hp and be RWD still, but will be about 150lbs lighter than the current F80 M3. Sounds exciting. Now if they could just get the exhaust note to sound right.
