The car says I have 1700km to go before next service is due (15000km service)

I have arranged for service to occur this week but it will still be around 1300km to go by the time I take it in.

I won't be free to take it for a service for another month and I will be well past the additional 1700 by then.

Should I take it in early and is there any harm in doing this?
