One of the best things I have done to produce a "smoother" feel is to shift from 1st to 3rd when starting, because 1st to 2nd is pretty rough if not done properly. also continue to drive the car a while and I am told that it has a kind of adaptive transmission. I have been able to obtain much smoother shifts once I put my first 1200 miles on it... Oh and I love that imola interior....
