Hey Gang,
I pulled the total newbie mistake of not subscribing to my own thread. I had checked it once and replied and then wondered what happened. Thanks for the replies!

Long story short, it was at Certified Benz and Beemer in Mesa, AZ but we ended up flying to CT to get a Montego Blue 335, same options. The salesman at CBB in Mesa never sent high resolution photos and that rang a few alarm bells.

The car I 'settled' for was even nicer in person than the super high resolution photos that were sent immediately after asking.

It is CPO'd from a BMW dealership and even though that cost us a premium in price, it was good experience all around.

Thanks again and I as long as I can retrofit a factory iPod connector I have all the options I was looking for.
