Australians pay a LCT (Luxury Car Tax) of 32% along with their 10% GST. The combined tax should simply be called SET (Stick it in your Ear Tax) or more appropriately SRT (Stick it in your Rear Tax). Either way it seems that Australians are buggered when it comes to buying nice cars.
