What I have is Meguiar's wheel wax. I applied it on and it does stay cleaner. Also, it's a lot easier to wash the rims now. Before I need to spend quite a bit of effort wiping the wheels. Now rinsing with water almost removes 70% of the dirt. Very minimal wiping needed.
