Jaguar has this on the F-pace as well. Hard to justify the cost, but yeah it makes sense for outdoorsy folks. I carry a hydro pack when I go MTBing so I just disconnect my fob and leave it in my bag, but that's a harder sell if you're running or not carrying something with pockets.
Looks a bit cludgier than the Jaguar design though.
