it affects all bmw part numbers. there are two checks to be made. the first is a manufacturing date stamping on the pump. if it has a 200x/xx type stamping, they are considered bad. if it has a 5 digit date stamping without the'/' another check is to be made. this check is a manufacturing stamp and if it is one of five set of numbers, it is also considered bad. i don't have the email in front of me, i'll bring it home on monday.
