Due to the fact that I had a quote from a TruCar dealer for the 2019 X5 I was able to negotiate a better deal with my local dealership. I saved approximately $4k off the MSRP. Another rep at the dealership mentioned that they are not allowed to go below MSRP unless there is a price match situation. My total build was $74,030 MSRP and the I was able to negotiate it down to $69,800. I hope that helps.
