Add me to the list... same thing happens with me. I believe the issue is a result of the caliper bushing getting old and causing the pad to lightly scrape against the rotor. Maybe I'll try some antisqueek goo and eventually get back to you guys... but I wont be doing this for some time, so dont hold your breath.
Assuming it is the bushing, then we'll probably all need new calipers or, the cheaper method, purchase a rebuild kit and put on a new rubber bushing.
