I did not dynamat this area, because the other areas are "covered" and no one would ever know I dynamated the trunk other than the weight of the trunk lid. I thought seriously about doing this area, but I thought it could be a real eye sore in the trunk, and my understanding is that dynamat is pretty permanent.
