tests have been performed on a chevy camaro (and possibly other cars)
basically. synthetic oil was good for 15k miles or more (during the test) however
the filter was the bad part and they recommend changing the filter ever 7k.
so in other words if you confident about the oil in your car just replace the filter every 5k or so miles. our cars run super hot and this causes the suppliments in the oil to be consumed faster. mileage may vary.
