So my 2020 xDrive30i with 45k miles has been doing this for awhile -- more noticeable when cold. Finally decided to have the dealer look at it last month. They immediately said it was the tension struts -- parts took a month to get and were installed last week and the noise did not go away. Sent the dealer a video and the first response I got back was the "we think that's normal".
I don't know if there's anything special in SIB310223, but I will ask if they followed it.
