Thing is 99% of the people are clueless about break-in. Ask most anyone about it & they talk engine. Totally forgetting transmission, differential, brakes, tires & the list goes on.
Moving parts need to have time to mesh. Tires need to wear off mold release compound from the manufacturing process about 200 miles as well as have a number of heat cycles done.
Expect the guys who made the car know more about it than run it like you stole it keyboard racers. The builders are not trying to break your chops keeping you waiting to run & gun but they are trying to reduce warranty claims.
