Hello everyone,
I have been experiencing power loss on my BMW 440i 2016 with the B58 engine since yesterday.
The following key data to understand.

MHD Stage 1 on 102 octane RON
For 1 week I have felt fluctuations when driving (felt as if you were constantly driving over bumps). I then logged my data with MHD and realized that my VANOS actuators were gone. So I ordered new ones and painfully replaced them. After that, the fluctuations were gone and according to MHD, VANOS is running great again. The only thing I noticed after the replacement were three errors when reading out the data.
DME active codes:
130715 VANOS solenoid valve intake:
Camshaft jammed
DME shadow (inactive) codes:
132201 VANOS solenoid valve intake:
Collector error
132301 VANOS: Collector error
Error deleted and since then no new error message in the control unit.
After changing the actuators, I noticed when accelerating that the performance is weaker than before. So it feels like the car sometimes can't build up any boost under full load and therefore accelerates without turbo.
I don't know if it's maybe due to the sealing rings of the actuators and the system is therefore drawing air or if it's something else.
