I'm pretty sure the F10 M5 and F06/12/13 M6s were the last M models to have hydraulic power steering. Nevertheless, it is still very numb especially when set to comfort mode. In Sport Plus it is a bit artificially heavy, but at least you get feedback unlike most of the newer models. Sport is the sweet spot, and where I drive at 99% of the time.


Also I should point out, these were the last M5s available with a 6spd manual.
